ROCKFORD BALL SCREW INTRODUCES COMPLETE LINE OF FIXED BEARING
MOUNTS FOR BOTH ACME AND STANDARD BALL SCREWS
ROCKFORD, IL, August 10, 2005 – Rockford Ball Screw has introduced a line of ‘fixed rigid’
bearing mounts, designed to support both radial and axial load components of force, ideal for
ball or ACME screw applications requiring higher speeds and thrust loads.
The new BMF series of fixed bearing mounts, together with a new line of ‘simple radial’
supports for radial loads called the BMR Series, joins Rockford Ball Screw's existing line of BM
Series ‘simple’ supports for radial and axial loads, making it the most complete line of standard
bearing mounts in the industry.
All three series of bearing mounts are available for most common sizes of standard ACME and
ball screws. In addition, Rockford Ball Screw offers its customers a unique capability to
provide custom bearing mount solutions for almost any application.
The expanded line of bearing mount products are described in detail in a new Rockford Ball
Screw Full Line Catalog that contains one of the industry’s broadest line of standard and preloaded
ball screws, and ACME screws, all in one comprehensive, easy-to-use catalog.
The 88-page Catalog provides a fast, efficient reference to all pertinent technical and application
information. In addition, step-by-step ball screw selection examples and sizing information is
used to simplify the specification of the correct ball screw and bearing mount combination for
any application. |
